Well it's out! The Imitation Supply of our SJAM Uniform is just out from the factories of greedy suppliers. Thanks to one of the members who highlighted and took the trouble to collect evidence and e-mailing it to me. It's not that the suppliers don't know, but to make fast cash they compromise the quality and find ways to make more profit! Just imagine RM 100.00 per set of uniform (without some items like shoes, socks).
Well another problem to be added to our list of problems. We talked about standardizing but how on earth are we going to do it when more problems crop up. I won't blame anybody but ourselves. As I mentioned in my previous article on this matter, I support the idea and praise the government for their initiative. But we have not done much to get the message across and highlight it to the relevant authority.
Let me highlight to you some of the flaw in this set of uniforms:-

But we have not done much to get the message across and highlight it to the relevant authority.
Let me highlight to you some of the flaw in this set of uniforms:-
1. FORAGE CAP
The members were only provided with a plain forage cap without the 2 small silver buttons and cap badge. Material and design of forage cap does not follow SJAM Dress R&R.2. SHIRT & BADGES (No Name Tag)

The Shoulder Flash is thin and the design is not exactly like our original Badge. The quality is definitely is lousy. You can still see stitch marks connecting each alphabet.

Wrong positioning of the badge. Material for the uniform is not according to our R&R.
Our emblem is poorly stitched. Looks like a windmill to me.3. PANTS
Material used and the design of our pants is wrong again. The side pockets should be straight cut and (picture below) there should not be any folding at the front of our pants.

Anyway as I said just now, we can't blame anybody. Even our own members. They won't know what is right or wrong. Members also cannot see their teachers or school authority to point out the problem because nobody will hear them. End of the day, we the SJAM Officers are the ones who need to go down and see the relevant people or authority to solve the problem.
